Rules and Rental Agreement for Studio Use
By booking a session, you agree that you have read and accepted these terms and conditions. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us. You also acknowledge that you are using the self-portrait studio at your own risk.
Rental time
We kindly ask you to arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment. Please note that the studio is located downtown, so please plan your time considering parking challenges in the area. Once we explain and show you everything, you can start your photoshoot, and your time begins then. Your session ends at the scheduled time, so please don't be late. Please make sure to clean up and leave the Photo Studio by the end of your rental time.
Payment
In all cases, we require 100% prepayment for your session. This is mandatory for all bookings, including custom or special requests. Please note that any deposits or fees paid in advance are non-refundable, unless you notify us at least 48 hours in advance.
Cancellation Policy
We’d like to offer a FULL REFUND if the reservation is canceled MORE THAN 48 hours before the scheduled date. If you need to cancel your reservation from 48-24 hours hours of your scheduled time, we will refund 50%. Please note that if you cancel your appointment with less than 24 hours notice, we will not be able to provide a refund. Please note that we require at least 24 hours notice if you need to reschedule your shoot. If less than 24 hours' notice is given, we will unfortunately have to cancel the shoot without refund.
Safety
Please be aware that our studio uses photography equipment and lighting that may pose potential hazards. We ask that you follow all safety guidelines provided by our staff to ensure your safety and the safety of others. Please refrain from unplugging power cords from electrical outlets as it may result in potential malfunctions. Violations of this rule will incur penalties.
Conduct
Please behave courteously and respectfully during your time in our studio. Any inappropriate or disruptive behavior may lead to the termination of your session without a refund.
Backdrop Usage
Please handle the paper backdrop used during your session carefully and avoid causing any damage to it. Any damage to the backdrops during your session will result in additional charges. The fee for using any backdrop is $20 per foot of length, measured from the bottom edge of the backdrop to the point where it requires trimming.
Equipment
Our studio is equipped with professional lighting, cameras, and other systems. Please do not touch or adjust our equipment, even if you are a professional photographer. Damaging the equipment could result in fines of up to $4000. We also do not take responsibility for any injuries caused by our equipment as a result of your attempts to modify it.
Prohibited
Alcohol and smoking are not allowed in the studio. A $500 fine will be imposed for violations. Using any liquids, especially soap bubbles, as props on the paper backdrop is prohibited. This will render the backdrop unusable for your own shoot.
Cleaning Fee
Please ensure that the studio space is left in the same condition as you found it. If the studio is left excessively messy or dirty, a cleaning fee of $200 will be applied. NO Glitter, Paint, Confetti. To help keep our backdrops clean, we ask all customers to thoroughly clean their shoes before entering the studio. Additionally, we recommend bringing spare, clean shoes to prevent any potential dirt.
Occupancy Policy
To maintain the best working environment for both our clients and staff, we limit the number of people in the studio to a maximum of 5 at any given time. If clients need to bring more individuals to the studio, please submit a request in advance.
Personal Belongings
We are not responsible for any personal belongings left in our studio. Please ensure that you take all your belongings with you.
Damage Policy
If there is any damage to studio equipment or facilities, the responsible party will be held accountable for the repair or replacement costs. Any extra expenses resulting from damages will be the responsibility of the individual or group responsible. It is crucial to report any damages promptly to evaluate and resolve the situation. The studio explicitly denies responsibility for any damages or physical harm caused by equipment usage.
